Procedure
How it works: two stages
Submission is not a single step. An abstract is assessed first, and only accepted abstracts go on to a full paper. This is the standard IABMAS congress procedure.
- Stage 101 / 03
Abstract
Submit an abstract of up to 300 words, with a title of up to 75 characters. The scientific committee assesses it and notifies the decision by email.
- Stage 202 / 03
Full paper
Accepted abstracts move on to a full paper of exactly 8 pages, following the official template. It receives at least two independent reviews.
- Stage 303 / 03
Camera-ready
After acceptance, the final version is uploaded together with the signed consent to publish and permission verification forms.
Requirements
Submission rules
- Abstract format
- Maximum 300 words and a title of up to 75 characters. No figures or references.
- Full paper format
- Exactly 8 pages, using the official template. Papers that do not meet the format are returned for correction before entering review.
- Required documents
- The camera-ready version requires three files: the paper, the signed consent to publish form, and the permission verification form for third-party material.
- Language
- Papers are accepted in Spanish and English. The presentation language is agreed with the committee when the programme is assembled.
Authorship and registration
Each registered author may present a maximum of 2 papers. For a paper to appear in the proceedings, its presenting author must be registered before the deadline shown in the timeline. This is the rule that generates the most queries — read it at the start, not at the end.
